Liberty View

Liberty View resides on 15 acres carved out for Veteran housing on the Fitzsimmons campus. This property serves seniors with 59 housing units carefully designed to feel spacious, uplifting, and dignified. The kitchens feature energy-star stainless appliances, solid surface countertops, and large pantries. The bedrooms and common areas offer light-filled spaces and ample storage. The bathrooms have been designed with shower benches and handheld fixtures to promote safety and ease of use.  It is anticipated that many residents will receive medical treatment from the VA hospital and the units incorporate many universal design principles to allow seniors to age in place with dignity and autonomy.

The building includes several shared amenities to promote socializing and community. The common areas include a beautiful southern-facing community room, a gracious fireplace, a community kitchen, a workout room, and a library/media room. The exterior lawn, community gardens, and barbeque area will provide a generous extension of social space on warm days.

The building incorporates many sustainable elements and meets the new green building standards NGBS (National Green Building Standards). Residents and staff will be able to access an EV charging station restricted for their use. The location also offers access to robust public transportation including both bus service and light rail within a mile.
